Dreiländereck Sysop Treffen in Engen am 16.2.2019

Das jährliche Treffen der System Operator (Sysop) und Technik Interessierten findet am Samstag 16. Februar 2019 in Engen (DL) statt.
Das Treffen beginnt auch dieses Jahr wieder um 12:00 mit einem gemeinsamen Mittagessen. Um 13:30 beginnen die Fachvorträge.

ISS Kontakt aus der Innerschweiz

Die Schulen Musegg in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Technikum Horw HB9HSLU werden am Montag, 4. Feb. mit der ISS Kontakt aufnehmen. Zwanzig Schüler vom Gymnasium Musegg werden über die Funktation von HB9HSLU direkt mit dem Astronaut David Saint-Jacques sprechen können. Die Sichtbarkeit und somit die max. mögliche Zeit der Funkverbindung mit der ISS ist von Standort Horw aus etwa 7 Minuten.
Unter der Leitung von Martin Klaper HB9ARK von HB9HSLU wird in Horw über die Dachantenne (4x9Element) auf VHF die Verbindung getätigt. Für den reibungslosen Ablauf sind zusätzlich Mitglieder der Sektionen HB9RF und HB9LU im Einsatz.
Die Verbindung kann direkt auf 145.800 FM mitverfolgt werden. Den genauen Zeitplan kann der Ankündigung der Schulen Musegg entnommen werden.

ARISS contact planned for students in Luzern, Switzerland

An International Space Station school contact has been planned for David St-Jacques KG5FYI with Kantonsschule Musegg, Luzern, Switzerland.

The event is scheduled Monday 4 February, 2019 at approximately 15:20 UTC (16:20 CEWT).

The conversation will be conducted in English.

The contact will be a direct operated by HB9HSLU.

The downlink signals will be audible in parts of Europe on 145.800 MHz FM.

School Information:
Musegg Grammar School Lucerne – Our school is a short-term grammar school in the heart of Lucerne, where students can obtain their Matura exam (A-levels) within four years. We accept students on the basis of them having completed two or three years of secondary school. Momentarily, 480 pupils are attending our school and are being taught by a total of 83 teachers. We have an independent profile which is focused on an artistic and paedagogical teaching culture. Music and arts are of great importance in our school tradition and our daily school life. Our major subjects are creative arts, biology/chemistry, music, paedagogics/psychology/philosophy, physics/applied athematics, economics/law. Our school offers eight special weeks per school year which permit an interdisciplinary approach to various topics. The Matura exam (A-levels), the final diploma of our grammar school, enables our students to study at any university in Switzerland.
